This section provides links related to the Virgo cluster and to useful observatories for Virgo studies.

	VESTIGE project VESTIGE is a CFHT Large Program with fifty nights allocated in 2017-2019. The observations will be done using MegaCam coupled with a narrow band filter centered on Halpha and a r band filter for the subtraction of the stellar continuum.
	NGVS survey The Next Generation Virgo Cluster Survey (NGVS) is an approved Large Programme for the Canada French Hawaii Telescope (CFHT). The NGVS includes 771 hours (approx. 140 nights), spread over the 2009A-2012A semesters, to image the Virgo Cluster from its core to virial radius, in five filters (u,g,r,i,z).
	HeVICS HeVICS is an Open Time Key Program for the Herschel Satellite to map about 60 sq deg of Virgo using both PACS and SPIRE (PMODE). It will provide a wavelength coverage in five bands from about 100 to 600 microns.
	ALFALFA ALFALFA is an on-going second generation blind extragalactic HI survey exploiting Arecibo's sensitivity, angular resolution and digital technology to conduct a census of the local HI universe over a cosmologically significant volume.
	GALEX The GALEX telescope is a UV space observatory providing far UV (FUV) and near UV (NUV) images. GALEX is used for the GUViCS program.
	Herschel The European Space Agency's Herschel Space Observatory has a 3.5-metres diameter mirror and covers a spectral range from the far infrared to sub-millimetre. Herschel is used by the HeVICS program.
	Arecibo The Arecibo telescope is a very large sentive radiotelescope, located in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
	CFHT The Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope is located at Mauna Kea, and is used for the NGVS program.
	GOLD Mine GOLD Mine is a multi-wavelength extra-galactic database with a enhance focus on Virgo galaxies.
